The 7 Bags I Currently Have My Eye On

I, like most girlies, am a handbag lover. However, I don't buy loads. I like to keep my eyes on special ones that I truly love and if I can get them on sale, I'm a happy lady. I thought I'd share with you the top 7 bags (don't get me wrong there's a few more too!) I currently have on my watch list!
I'm a huge fan of a mini bag so you'll see lots of these styles here...

Alexander McQueen

I'm never normally one for a neutral bag as I usually opt for either black or bold, but this is why I love this grey so much. It's neutral enough to pair with anything, but the grey palette makes it slightly more edgy than a nude or beige, I think. I'd style this with pastels all day long.

Marc Jacobs

Ok, so it's not a classic but I'm obsessed. I love to find the occasional bold bag that just sticks in your mind until you just give in, splurge and get it. I would absolutely make this the central feature of the outfit and paired with all black it would soar but I'm thinking a white on white on white outfit!? A must-have for this summer.

Balenciaga

A little change from my usual mini bag preference, I have always loved these Balenciaga shapes. Then, one day I came across this colour and just thought, "yasssssss". Think this bag, paired with ripped to shreds, relaxed-fit jeans and a tee and you know where I am.

I've been looking for a holiday bag for ages. Now, I know what you're thinking, "it's black!" but I don't care. I love black and the fact that it's raffia and a chic AF bucket shape, it's holiday-esque enough for me! I'd wear this with wide-leg, elegant linen trousers and a wide-brimmed hat to boot.

Halston Heritage

Just take a sec to appreciate the design here. I just love it! I love how simple the lines are and how casual but completely cool this is. I can imagine wearing this with a coordinating shade, suede mule and then a pleated midi skirt and cropped denim jacket. Brunch perfection.

This is about as holiday as I get. I love the minimal floral print paired with simple lines and classic but bold hardware. Plus, I would always choose gold over silver so this draws me straight in. I'd style this with a chic white or pastel midi dress and heels for a vacay dinner out.

Moschino

I LOVE this bag and had to include it, even though it featured in my last post! I just love the branding, which is so on-trend right now and this is one of those bags you can literally wear with anything.

I'm not one to only purchase either high street or designer when it comes to bags. I just like what I like.

In terms of investment pieces, I also don't agree with always buying reliable staples; if there's a fire statement piece that you just can't stop thinking about, then why not! Case and point, my favourite buy last year was a bold, leopard print Dolce & Gabbana bag, which I still ADORE.

Happy bag browsing!
