It sounds SO boring, but one of my favourite items of clothing is a crisp, loose-fit white t-shirt. I buy several each season because I wear them so often and style them with so many different looks. As the weather is turning, my white tees are out, so I thought I'd show you my current 3 ways to style it up and make it anything but boring! ;)
If you're keeping up with my posts, you may have noticed my deep obsession with a statement trouser. Well, it hasn't ended. I LOVE to pair a bold, printed trouser (high-waisted and wide-leg, of course) with a simple white tee. This one has slightly longer sleeves, which hit the waist where the trouser finishes, making it ultra flattering.
When it comes to a bold print, especially animal prints, I'm so not afraid to clash. In fact, I embrace it. Some people might not like this orange/red shoe with the palette of the trousers but I think there's just something imperfectly perfect about it.
Take a simple white tee and add a metallic beauty of a midi skirt. Now, some would maybe add a sky scraping heel and crystal necklace and hit the town, but not me. I actually have a couple of metallic skirts as I adore them and I layer it with a distressed or embroidered denim jacket and throw on my favourite pure white sneakers. I love this look.
Boyfriend Jeans & Blazer
This is my absolute go-to look at the mo. For this outfit, I'd pick a tee with a little more room for comfort (if it's my boyfriends, then so be it!). I love to tuck an oversized tee into high-waisted boyfriend jeans; they flatter every shape, which is hard to find as I have small hips, so find it hard to achieve the elusive "hourglass" dream. Throw over a longline, pastel blazer and this look screams spring time fresh.
