Summer Sandals $199 and Under
Let's get things straight, we don't need it to be Summer for us to get excited about a new pair of sandals.
Sandals mean different things to different people, and there are so many different types of sandals, it's easy to see why there'd be confusion.
We're going to abandon traditional flip flops for a chicer thong sandal, we're bringing patent back, and we're not focusing on heel height as much as we are comfort. Don't fret, we still love a flashy af 5" sky high stiletto and we're not putting our style into storage.
About that non flip flop thong sandal
Staying under the $199 mark, these metallic blue leather Tommy Hilfiger sandals are on sale for only $65.
Don't fancy blue? They also come in a toned down gold color that is equally appealing. These Tommy Hilfiger strappy sandals are a fabulous alternative to luxury brand Ancient Greek Sandals.
So, FYI, these are exactly the types of Summer sandals that are just as comfy as flip flops, but they don't look like flip flops. When we think flip flops, we are thinking the rubbery kind - yuck! Save those for the beach - or better yet choose a fun jelly sandal instead!
P.S. these flat type thong sandals go with dresses, skirts, shorts, and denim. Don't overlook them the next time you're shoe shopping!
Patent leather is the best leather
Subjectively speaking, patent leather is hotter this Summer than regular leather. Take it from us - Spring/Summer's hottest sandals are going to be in shiny patent colors.
It's a little more of a dressy vibe, and any excuse to "dress up" right?
