Fashion Week Day 6 with Annie Ladino: Tory Burch and J.Crew

Day 6…or is it Day 10?!The day started off with Tory Burch’s first show at the tents.  I’ve become a huge fan this past year and practically live in a rastafarian inspired hoodie that even my guy friends envy.   I detected a hint of this caribbean laid back influence in Tory’s S/S 12 collection, while staying true to the brand’s modern take on prep.  Being a sucker for detail I paid special attention to it’s impeccable styling and decided these were my favorite looks.

I made a mad dash out the door to J.Crew to see my friend Somsack Sikhounmuong, the Women’s head designer.   I caught a quick peek of one of my favorite retailers’ collection until the crowd went wild.  Beyonce and Solange Knowles had entered the building.
