Shorts are hard 2 style. Most of the time we get it wrong. Forget everything you know about shorts and how you're "supposed" to wear them, and listen carefully. . .
These are high-rise but casual. Wear a plain baby tee (in a neutral color) with them + add a sneaker. To be hella chic throw on a structured blazer.
As part of a set, I am all in and here for the uber flowy, girly, and juvenile look. I still think this looks like something you sleep in BUT when styled correctly, it passes as cute af.
STYLING: a mini bag, either plain & dainty sneakers/flats, or a low heel.
Obv we gotta pay attn to the JEAN short. I like mine 1-2 sizes larger than my actual denim, tight shorts are a NO.
Pair with sneakers and a tee. Whatever sweatshirt/sweater I have, I always throw it over my shoulders w. this look, topped off w. a crossbody purse.
I would say the Ksubi's would look sick with a silk blouse (semi tucked in) and ultra high pointed heels. 👌 👌 👌
P.S. I'm rarely a fan of white denim shorts, and they'd have to be pretty distressed for me to like them, aka dressed all the way down.
But black denim is great + these Paige shorts cover your assets nicely. Size up and they are going to look PERFECT.
Rn I'm in this phase where I either want to dress totally down (think grunge-esque) or super-sophisticated.
Short shorts remind me of teens, and if not worn right, I can't take you seriously.
Bc these are high-waisted, you can get away with wearing a v classy bodysuit here. I like these b/c they are still short w.o being obnoxious. Flats, chic sandals, or heels all work, and an oversized sweater looks amazing w. this lewk.
