So I just had a minor mental breakdown over my closet. Suddenly everything looks hideous, and it looks something like a ton of white tees and from there on I'm only seeing evening dresses. WTF
Rn I'm also making a conscience effort to NOT wear black, which is like really hard.
I own this exact style and color and in real life it's more of an off-white color/with a hint of cream (more like the pants pictured w. the blouse in the image above). But, at least I'm happy.
This eyelet maxi dress is not my usual style, but I can see myself wearing this many times, just quick throwing it on before a casual dinner, with my hair in a sleek, high bun. During the day I'd pair this with Celine shades and a Chanel handbag.
These are what I guess I'm aiming for?? Was casual dress shopping always this hard?
Everyday I don't want to put on a full face of makeup, and these dresses don't require any- just a good brow, tinted moisturizer, and lip gloss.
With sneakers or black flat lace-up sandals. It's tacky and in-your-face, almost rude, but I like it. The bottom is the best part.
I'm into cropped (capri) length leggings rn for the warmer weather. Don't confuse these leggings with workout leggings. Get a "nice" pair of leggings, not an athletic brand.
So it looks like I have a nice range of items here. For me it's always quality over quantity. I'm most excited about the tees and leggings looks. I'm also very happy with my "romantic" outfit, which is the RT floral top and Re/Done denim.
Normally this top isn't my style- but I just bought a pair of off-white Re/Dones and this is literally the only top I've seen that will go with them.
Plus it's silk and I like the large lace.
