I'm really loving dressing in one colour right now. My signature is black (obvs), but for summer, I've been experimenting not just with white looks but being brave with colour too. So.... This is the kind of vibe I'm liking at the mo....
I know it's basic, but that's just because it's so good.
White will ALWAYS be a good look for summer (or winter for that matter). I'm a huge fan of white denim, but I much prefer either slightly off white for skinny jeans, or slightly relaxed-fit if pure white. I personally just think this makes the white jeans vibe look more expensive. I love these ripped-up 7 For All Mankind jeans and I would actually size up to make them a little more "boyfriend". Paired with this super-cute smocked top, this look is built for summer time and all it needs is these layered gold coin necklaces.
I love these espadrilles with this outfit because it keeps the whole look on a relaxed, laid-back vibe.
I mean... Can we get any more boujee? If you're going to go for the monochromatic look, I think just really go for it.
For starters, I LOVE these Lovers + Friends track pants. They would pair with anything from perspex sky scraper heels to sunday sneakers and look good. You could put them with a lace bralette, a bodysuit or a slouchy knit and they just look good.
Here, I've paired them with this deeper lilac satin cami. In my world, monochromatic can definitly merge hues of the same colour - well, we've got to mix it up a bit haven't we!? Finished with this AMAZING jacket, which you will get so much wear out of.
This is a perfect work look for someone who can rock a little bit of an edgier style at the office. I LOVE this skirt. The shape is heavenly and the additional ruffles and tiers make it look SO expensive.
I wanted to pair with a really simple tee, which coule be tucked in or knotted at the front and then a simple but gorgeous shoe. The Zadig & Voltaire jacket is just thrown over and left undone to pull the whole look together. This jacket also looks so good with leather skirts and pants.
Monochrome doesn't mean you can't do a print. These plaid trousers from SEA are perfect for the seasonal transition and the OTT turned-up cuff is my fave detail. Pair these with a slouchy knit tee and coordinating bag and it's a look that's almost too good for the office.
