I LOVE LOVE LOVE fashion week street style. In fact, I think I prefer it to watching the shows in many ways!! The most creative fashion mavens gather in one place and are literally head to toe showing off their style prowess. Here's what I've seen and loved so far...
I've seen a fair bit of yellow in FW street style so far and I'm loving it. As I said, I feel like people are really enjoying playing with colour at the moment and it's very much encouraged me to consider trying out yellow for the first time EVER!
Yellow can be tricky because every shade doesn't go with every skin tone so pick the right hue for you, which could be anything between mustard and primary.
Wherever you go, when it comes to street style, an oversized blazer will be found. And they always look good. This fall, I plan to seriously top up my collection.
There's nothing more to be said. So far, over half the street style pics I've seen from Fashion Week feature sneakers.
White sneakers have been huge for a while now but I've seen lots of black ones, especially in London and they're being paired with anything from dresses to smart tailored trousers.
This is such a look I can get on board with.
1 - Hoodies - They've been everywhere and women are layering them with dresses, blazers, coats, jeans, mini skirts..... the list goes on!
2- White Kitten Heel Booties - Never seen so many white boots!!
3 - Straight Leg Jeans - So far, I have not seen 1 pair of skinny jeans at Fashion Week. All hail the comfort of the straight leg jean!
Looking forward to seeing more Fashion Week goodness as it unfolds!!
1. Prints Prints Prints
Ok, I'm not even gonna talk about leopard print or any animal print for that matter. We all know it's huge RN and I've spoken about it enough!
However, prints do continue to reign and although there is tons of **cough cough** leopard print **cough** on the streets of fashion week, I have also seen loads of bright and wonderful other prints too. People really seem to be enjoying colour at the moment and, particularly at London Fashion Week so far, I've seen lots of bright, bold prints, whether that be geometric, floral or otherwise.
