Just Cut It Out
If you can't do cut-out clothes in summer, then why do they make them? I'm not really a revealing type of lady, (ok, yes I'm British and yes, that's a cliché and yes, it's also true) HOWEVER, a cheeky cut-out piece from time to time can be chic AND sexy. Here are the picks I sincerely approve of...
Cut-Out Maxi
Maxi's are modest by nature, so why not add a little cut-out detail to show off just a hint of skin. This BB Dakota maxi does just that and I love the extra thigh split as well. I mean, we all need a little breeze during these hot days!
Take this bohemian look to the next level with neutral wedges and coordinating casual bag. I love the idea of adding feather drop earrings to the look too!
This slashed top gives some grungy glam to the cut-out look.
I can imagine this paired with anything from a black leather mini (see me previous post for my fave picks!) or it could be layered with a high-waisted floral midi or maxi skirt for a chic OOTD.
I'm really into all of these simple and cool cut-out tops.
Finally, this cut-out, crossover, backless top has it all.
It's so pretty and sweet but with a flash of flesh at the back, it's never too twee. I love the neckline and criss-cross waist detail, making it super flattering. I'd pair with white denim and pops of hot pink through the accessories for a really girly brunch look.
