Yeah, the Pantone Institute did things a little differently this year and choose 2 colors for 2021's "color of the year".
The colors are 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and 13-0647 Illuminating; aka a really pretty smooth gray and a happy sunshine-y yellow that complement each other exceptionally well.
We're not saying that you have to wear these 2 colors simultaneously to create a Pantone inspired outfit. You can have a little fun with Pantone's colors of the year by incorporating small hints of grays and yellows into your look.
At Shop It To Me, a personal shopping service with customized price drop alerts, we pride ourselves on our style and high taste level, so we promise that you're not going to be walking around looking like Big Bird or Oscar's trash can— no shade to The Muppets, it's just that they aren't exactly our style inspiration for this post.
Here's our interpretation of this year's colors, all from currently coveted top designers of course!

Balenciaga knows what chic women want to carry, and this crocodile embossed leather cardholder is the Ultimate Gray accessory of 2021.
With a WFH (work from home) mentality looming over us, we definitely envision ourselves lounging around in this gray waffle knit half zip.
And because who doesn't love a matching set (rhetorical), top activewear brand Varley complements its own waffle knit top with a matching waffle knit bottom.
And just to properly top things off, this comfy Pantone color inspired outfit requires slippers that are just as comfortable and chic as it is.
APL: Athletic Propulsion Labs, makes this cute pair of gray slippers featuring an extra comfy footbed.
Don't forget, this is a 2021 Pantone color of the year inspired post, so it's okay to throw in this Dries Van Noten maxi dress, that's a bit more deeper than the Illuminating yellow Pantone chose this year.
We love the extra long short sleeve length coupled with a super high slit on this long dress. On sale, this is definitely a major steal that can be worn with any footwear from sneakers to cowboy boots.
Handbags are great investments, considering the amount of show and use you get out of them.
