For the last couple of years we've been so honed in on the mini and micro bag trends (which are still going strong and are still considered favs, ours included) and we've been so focused on monochromatic and minimalistic looks, that it feels as if we've neglected anything bright, bold, or oversized.

Of course we can't speak on everyone's behalf, and one of our editors was actually embracing Summer's Biggest Jewelry Trends, literally and figuratively, months ago.

So with Spring/Summer '20 right around the corner, we're going to show you our favorite accessory trends to try in 2020 and where to buy them!

Multiple Rings, One Hand

More is more with this accessories trend. Stacking is still chic, but wearing multiple statement-esque rings on different fingers is definitely the newest way to wear rings in 2020.

Versace, never dull, gives us this stunning gold-toned brass dome ring with a bright turquoise stone, and upon clicking the image and seeing how it goes perfectly against a white SS/20 dress, we're immediately sold on it as one of our favorite Spring/Summer accessory staples.

To add to our hand candy will be Aurelie Bidermann's chainlink yellow gold tone ring. Trendy yet timeless, this chainlink ring can be worn on any finger to look effortless.

And finally, another one of our jewelry favorites is this white enamel stacking ring, accented with 3 small diamonds, by EF. A "go with everything" type of ring, this skinny ring can stay on rotation.

Sparkly Belts Worn Over Sundresses

While we're not hating on an oversized belt perfectly cinched over a plaid poplin shirt or military style dress, this Spring/Summer season comes with lighter feelings.

Anything that shines with the sun is an appropriate accessory to drape around your waist, ie: a crystal rhinestone belt.

Christopher Kane's crystal and blue gel belt sparks feelings of joy and nostalgia, reminiscent of the lava lamp you once had on your nightstand— but in the form of a super chic luxury belt.

Wear this crystal jellied belt over any sundress to instantly elevate the look. Possibly the best accessory trend of 2020 thus far?

Rixo's arlo belt, in a gold mixed with rhodium color, is Studio 54 chic and we can't stop gawking over it. We imagine Cher would still rock this rhinestone belt over a dress today. It's an investment piece without the investment, aka it's very reasonably priced. The yellow gold circular charm is a nice added touch.

Last, but not least of the shiny belt accessory trends to try in 2020, is this shoestring sparkly belt by our favorite denim designer GRLFRND. It's adjustable, same goes for the previous two crystal adorned belts we showed you, making it the perfect low-slung or high-waist-hugging accent to clasp over your Spring/Summer dresses. Peasant dresses by brands like LoveShackFancy and Isabel Marant will definitely benefit from a crystal embellished waist belt.

Feather Earrings

Your usual earrings, on steroids. Any earrings with feather accents are a major trend for 2020.

Leave it to skilled costume jewelry designer Rosantica to create the dreamiest, most ethereal pair of baby pink feathered drop earrings, each adorned with a single clear crystal at the top. Wear these dreamy earrings with a nightgown or an actual gown— your choice.

Obviously Oscar de la Renta is a power player in the designer costume jewelry arena, and the brand's classic long beaded white feather earrings look stunning, especially against blonde hair. In a weird way, they will make your hair look fuller, mimicking front hair extensions. Earrings that equal fuller hair equals genius.

More Oscar de la Renta earrings entering the jewelry trends court. And you'll most definitely want to show these lightly lavender colored circular earrings off, so plan to wear your hair up in a pony, or behind your ears, with this flirty feathered pair.

Statement Hats

Hats are always the answers to our morning prayers when we didn't have the time to wash our hair and our dry shampoo just isn't cutting it anymore.

Gucci's bright floral bucket hat is the major accessory that we didn't know we were missing in our Spring wardrobes. This hat is a statement-maker on its own, so you don't really need to read into your outfit that much to utilize this blooming 2020 accessory trend.

What's black and white and chic all over? Topshop's gingham straw fedora hat, and it's on sale, so make sure to snag it (soon) before it sells out. We love this frayed hat with a suit or black/cream blazer look.

Another sale find is Zimmermann's oversized straw hat (click the pic to see its actual size). If your face needs a break from the sun, wear this oversized straw hat with pride.

Oversized Sunglasses

Sleek sunglasses are still cool for the Summer, but oversized sunnies are back on the radar as a major trend for 2020.

Going with the 'more is more' philosophy, wear these black Fendi cat-eye shades, or any other pair of oversized sunglasses, with any of the above-mentioned statement hats.

Bold and bright is a theme of 2020, so get ready to pack a punch with Gucci's pink rectangle sunglasses. Perfect for a garden party, a mimosa filled brunch, and hiding the inevitable bags under your eyes after a late night out.

AND, btw, we are using SHOP IT TO ME, to find all of these amazing accessories, and you can find many more sale items and other accessories trends using Shop It To Me as well. Sign-up for free and start browsing your favorite designers to see what designer sales are waiting for you.

And finally, never not loving logomania, we are here for these oversized Fendi logo sunglasses. Their pink lenses and tortoiseshell frames make for a super sleek combination.

Funny to think that 2020 accessory trends were already predicted months ago, but the truth is— if it looks good, wear it! This statement will always be true, so make sure you're buying quality over quantity, and that what you're buying truly brings joy to you.

Having a small, well thought out and curated collection, is better than having a closet full of fast fashion.
